EOO and AOO <400 km², two remaining locations continue to decline due to ongoing habitat loss to urban and vineyard expansion, alien grass invasion and lack of fire due to habitat fragmentation.

Description
Granitic and shale loams on hills or mountain slopes.
Threats
Urban development has led to much suitable habitat on the Tygerberg hills being lost in the past. In addition, crop cultivation for vineyards is past and remains a present severe threat. Lack of fires and invasive aliens, particularly alien grasses threatened all remaining subpopulations.
