Description
Shale soils transitioning into acid sands.
Threats
Threatened by ongoing habitat loss to urban expansion, at least one subpopulation was recently lost to a low cost housing development between 2000 and 2006. Crop cultivation was a severe past threat, as this species is associated with nutrient rich soils transitions with acid sands much of its habitat has been targeted for crops. Loss due to expanding crop cultivation is ongoing in parts of its range.
