Justification
Oxalis saltusbelli is known from only one location where it occurs within a reserve. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of less than 20 km², and has no recorded threats. It is therefore listed under the IUCN 3.1. criteria as Least Concern but is nationally recognised as Critically Rare.

This species is endemic to South Africa, and is found in Oorlogskloof Nature Reserve on the Bokkeveld Escarpment.
