Description
Sandy areas between rocks in the surf spray zone.
Threats
Coastal dunes around Port Nolloth are extensively mined for minerals, using destructive, open-cast methods. This species is likely to be impacted by habitat loss to mining, which continues to expand in the area.
Population

A poorly known species, with only a few collections reported in the literature (Hartmann 1988), but no precise locality details given. There are no specimens verified as this species in South African herbaria.
