Limestone and ferricrete fynbos on flats.
Threats
1) Alien vegetation is a severe threat at both locations. Ratelfontein and the Rietfontein se Poort area also have high numbers of alien species (D. Raimondo 2006, pers. obs.). 2) Farming activities (grazing) and frequent burning are current, ongoing threats at Elim.
