Two subpopulations known from historical records may already be locally extinct due to habitat degradation and competition from alien invasive plants. |
Population |
This species is known from between five and seven subpopulations, and recent observations of five subpopulations indicate that the population consists of several thousand plants. Six out of seven known locations are threatened and declining due to alien plant invasion, and two may already be extinct.
