Justification
Erica pilosiflora subsp. pilosiflora has a restricted range, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 464 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 36-44 km². It remains at fewer than 10 locations after more than 30% habitat loss. It continues to decline due to ongoing habitat loss and degradation, as well as competition from alien invasive plants. It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion B.
