Justification
EOO <625 km², four known locations. Declining due to invasive alien Acacia cyclops infestation of the habitat, wheat and pasture cultivation, thatch collection and grazing and trampling by livestock.

Description
Aeolian sand on and between limestone ridges.
Threats
Threatened by ongoing habitat loss and degradation due to overgrazing and crop cultivation, and veld management for thatch harvesting, which is intended to promote the growth of thatching reed to the detriment of other native species. Competition from alien invasive plants is also an ongoing threat.
