Description
High altitude shale bands in montane fynbos.
Threats
Too-frequent fires. This species used to be more common, but the numbers have dwindled because of two successive fires in the recent past (E.G.H. Oliver pers. obs.). Although it is not currently declining, this species remains potentially threatened by too-frequent fires.
