Justification | Although Erica abietina subsp. aurantiaca is threatened by habitat loss on lower slopes and flats in the western part of this subspecies' range, it is widespread and common, with many subpopulations in protected montane areas, and not in danger of extinction. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of more than 60 000 km², and is therefore listed as Least Concern. |
