Justification | This taxon was not seen for at least 20 years. Almost 100% of its habitat is under pine plantations and it was listed as probably extinct in the Red List of South African Plants (Raimondo et al. 2009). A single remnant subpopulation of 10 plants was rediscovered in late 2009. This last remaining subpopulation is severely threatened by pine infestation. |
