Justification
A range-restricted taxon (EOO 150 km²), forestry plantations in the Robinson Pass area have undoubtedly had an impact on the habitat of this subspecies in the past, it is however no longer declining and subpopulations are conserved in the Ruitersbos Nature Reserve.
