Justification
A rare, localised habitat specialist with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 258 km². The area of occupancy is 20 km². It is known from three subpopulations, but a few more undiscovered subpopulations could possibly occur. There are no severe threats to the population, and it therefore qualifies for listing as Least Concern under the IUCN 3.1 criteria but is nationally classified as Rare.

Description
The habitat consist of crevices on steep-north facing cliffs.
Threats
While there are some invasive alien species occurring within its range, this species' dry north facing habitat is not recorded to be impacted.
Population

No information is available on the current size of the population. However, three observations made of this species recorded on iNaturalist since 2016 note that it occurs at very low densities as single plants or less than five individuals. The total population is therefore suspected to be low. As it currently faces no threats, the population is likely stable.
