Justification | A restricted fynbos mountain endemic known from between one and two locations. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 8 km². There are no known threats, and it is therefore listed nationally as Rare but is considered Least Concern under the IUCN 3.1 categories and criteria. |

Threats |
There are no threats recorded however this taxon faces a potential future threat of invasion by Hakea species. |
Population |
It is known from two subpopulations in the Keeromsberg Mountains with both these subpopulations last surveyed in 2004. There are also historical records of this taxon recorded from the Langeberg as noted in Oliver and Oliver 2005. The population is suspected to be stable since there are no threats to the only known subpopulations.
