Justification
This extremely range-restricted species (EOO <1 km²) is known from a single subpopulation of fewer than 200 mature individuals. Although the population is protected, it is potentially threatened by too frequent fire.

Description
Steep, moist, south-facing slopes in fynbos.
Threats
This species' entire population is protected within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. It is however potentially threatened by too frequent fire: the area has burnt twice within 17 years.
Population

This is an extremely localized species, known from one subpopulation consisting of fewer than 200 plants (A. Johns, R.C. Turner pers. comm.).
