Threats |
Extensive habitat transformation within the Elgin Valley has likely led to the loss of the majority of this species' habitat, and it is currently known from a single remaining subpopulation. It is threatened by competition from alien invasive plants and potentially expansion of nearby fruit orchards and enlargement of the Arieskraal Dam. |
