Justification | This is a highly range-restricted species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 63 km². It is a locally common species, with most of its range free of invasive alien plant species. It has no severe threats and is therefore listed as Rare nationally, and Least Concern globally under the IUCN 3.1. criteria. |

Threats |
Erica inclusa is potentially threatened by competition from alien invasive plants on the lower slopes around Garcia's Pass. One location already has Pinus pinaster, Acacia mearnsii, and Lantana camara present at low densities. |
