Justification
This is a highly range-restricted species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 63 km². It is a locally common species, with most of its range free of invasive alien plant species. It has no severe threats and is therefore listed as Rare nationally, and Least Concern globally under the IUCN 3.1. criteria.

This species is endemic to the Langeberg near Riversdale in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Description
It occurs on moist lower to middle slopes.
Threats
Erica inclusa is potentially threatened by competition from alien invasive plants on the lower slopes around Garcia's Pass. One location already has Pinus pinaster, Acacia mearnsii, and Lantana camara present at low densities.
Population

There is no information available on the population of this species. The population is however suspected to be stable since there are no severe threats impacting on the subpopulations.
