This habitat specialist is found on the Groot Swartberg, Antoniesberg and Kouga Mountains in the Western and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa.

Description
It grows on upper mountain slopes, moist seepages, and sandy soils.
Threats
This species has no known threats.
Population

The known subpopulations are small with about 10-50 mature individuals. Most of this species' habitat is protected, and the population is not suspected to be declining.
