Justification
This range-restricted species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 258 km² and is known from four disjunct subpopulations. The population is stable; it is therefore listed as Least Concern under the IUCN 3.1 criteria but is considered a restricted-range Rare species nationally.

This species is known from Hoopsberg, Kammanassieberg, and Mannetjiesberg Mountains near Uniondale in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

Description
It grows on rocky slopes at high altitudes in fynbos.
Threats
It has no significant threats, but as a slow-growing, single-stemmed species it may be vulnerable to drought and frequent fire, especially on drier inland sites where it occurs.
Population

A naturally localised species known from four disjunct subpopulations; these subpopulations have high numbers of individuals occurring within localised patches. The population is currently stable.
