A range-restricted taxon with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 234 km², with only three known subpopulations. There are no known threats affecting the species at the time of assessment. Therefore, it is considered Least Concern globally, but Rare nationally, according to the IUCN 3.1 Criteria.
