Extensive habitat loss to fruit orchards, vineyards, timber plantations, dam construction and competition from alien invasive plants have reduced this species to one remaining subpopulation on a single small fragment of natural vegetation, where the habitat continues to be degraded due to a lack of fire and alien plant invasion. |
Population |
A single subpopulation is known to remain, and is likely to continue to decline due to ongoing habitat loss and degradation as the site is not protected.
|
Population trend | Decreasing |
