Threats |
Mountain slopes around the localized population of Erica marifolia have been afforested with exotic pines and gum trees in the past, and escaping seedlings have spread up steep slopes. In some areas these plantations and invasive stands are now being cleared, however, tree felling have been observed to damage fragile soils on steep, damp slopes, and could potentially lead to erosion and loss of individuals. |
