Justification | EOO 170 km², AOO <20 km², four known locations. This is a very slow-growing and long-lived species (generation length 100 years) with fewer than 400 mature individuals plants known. Subpopulations typically have fewer than 50 mature individuals. Declining as a result of too frequent fire and alien invasive Pinus infestations. |
Distribution |
Endemism | South African endemic |
Provincial distribution | Western Cape |
Range | Riviersonderend Mountains, from Jonaskop to Galgeberg. |
