Justification
Extremely localized around the Steenbras Dam (EOO and AOO <3 km²). At least 50% of the habitat was flooded when the dam was constructed. Remaining habitat has been fragmented by forestry plantations. It is estimated that at least 30% of the total habitat loss has taken place over the past 45 years (less than three generations). The remaining individuals are potentially threatened by too infrequent fire.
