Justification
One large subpopulation from a restricted area around Garcia's Pass (EOO ± 20 km²) is potentially threatened by expanding forestry plantations and alien pine invasion of the habitat at five locations.

Description
Fynbos, in seepage areas or along stream banks on south-facing slopes.
Threats
The area has been largely afforested with exotic pine plantations, and although this species' particular habitat has not been impacted, uncontrolled spread of escaping pine seedlings could potentially affect the population in future. Habitat loss to expanding plantations is also a potential threat.
