Justification | A range-restricted (extent of occurrence 355 km²), but locally common endemic to the Kogelberg Mountains. This species' habitat is well protected and not threatened. It is therefore listed nationally as Rare but qualifies for listing as Least Concern under the IUCN 3.1 categories. |

This species is locally common and known from at least seven subpopulations.
