Justification
A range-restricted (extent of occurrence 355 km²), but locally common endemic to the Kogelberg Mountains. This species' habitat is well protected and not threatened. It is therefore listed nationally as Rare but qualifies for listing as Least Concern under the IUCN 3.1 categories.

Description
It is grows on rocky sandstone slopes.
Threats
Invasive alien species are present in low-lying parts of this species' range, but do not yet pose a threat. However, if left unmanaged, it could potentially become dense enough to outcompete native species in the future.
Population

This species is locally common and known from at least seven subpopulations.
