Description
Plants grow in streamsides on rocky upper sandstone slopes.
Threats
This species is potentially threatened by competition from alien invasive plants, which are particularly prone to spreading along streams and drainage lines. The lower slopes of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains above the western end of Du Toit's Kloof Pass have been planted with timber plantations, a potential source of invasive seedlings. Elsewhere in Du Toit's Kloof and around Bain's Kloof unmanaged alien invasive plants have already caused the decline of other Stylapterus species.
