Justification
Eriospermum appendiculatum is known from two locations in the Steytlerville Karoo, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of less than 1000 km². It is potentially threatened by habitat degradation as a result of livestock farming, and is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion D.

Description
