Justification | EOO 12 000 km², known from five collections although a few more undiscovered subpopulations are likely, less than 10 locations are suspected. Habitat is declining as a result of agricultural expansion and heavy mineral sand mining along the coast. |

Threats |
Mining (heavy mineral sands) is a severe threat. Agriculture has also been named a threat to this species in the Velddrift (potatoes and onions) and Vanrhynsdorp (vineyards, rooibos) areas (ongoing threat). |
