Population

This species is known from only three specimens collected in the late 1930s at an unspecified locality near Steinkopf. It has never been relocated, and it is not known whether the population survives or not. Eriospermum species are cryptic and easily overlooked, and dedicated surveys are needed to relocate the population, but without precise locality information, it is very difficult.
