Description
Lower, south-facing slopes on granite-derived soils.
Threats
This species occurs mainly in the remote eastern mountains of the Richtersveld, where livestock grazing pressure is low. A few subpopulations in the south-west are potentially threatened by grazing, but unlikely to cause this species to become in danger of extinction.
