Justification | Pelargonium hystrix was initially considered to be a rare species, however recent fieldwork by Lavranos and Craib has indicated that it is locally plentiful on shale ridges of Dwyka and Ecca beds in the Ceres Karoo and on Eccabeds between Calvinia and Onder Visrivier. It is therefore assessed as Least Concern. |
