Description
Plants grow in sheltered places in rock crevices on the higher summits of the Drakensberg range.
Threats
There are no severe threats to this species. Its habitat is well-protected.
Population

This species is a localized habitat specialist, but can be locally abundant in suitable habitat (Killick 1954). The population is not declining.
