Description
Deep sandy soils near the coast.
Threats
Sections of De Hoop Nature Reserve is infested with alien invasive plants. Some clearing has been done, but ongoing management and clearing of alien invasive plants is required to prevent reinvasion.
Population

A highly localized species, known from a single small subpopulation. Surveys of similar habitat in the immediate surrounds did not reveal any further subpopulations (Magee et al. 2009).
