Justification
A range-restricted (EOO 200 km²) habitat specialist known from six subpopulations. Its rocky habitat affords it protection from ploughing for rooibos tea, the predominant threat in the region. Not threatened.

Description
Steep south-facing sandstone and shale slopes amongst rocks.
Threats
There has been no evidence of threats in the vicinity of three of the subpopulations seen by N.A. Helme (pers. comm. 2005.). This species' habitat is not threatened by crop cultivation, which is the main land use within its distribution range.
