Justification | A range-restricted species (EOO<50 km²) known from two locations, 150 plants have been found in the four known subpopulations. A few more undiscovered subpopulations are likely to exist but we suspect that there are fewer than 1000 mature individuals in the population. This subspecies is potentially threatened by drainage pattern alterations due to Rooibos tea cultivation. |
