Population |
Subpopulations are small and localized (Marais 2010). The species is currently known from two adjacent farms, but is possibly more widespread in similar habitat elsewhere on the Knersvlakte. Field surveys are needed to gain a better understanding of the range size and abundance of this recently described species.
