Justification
Aloe jeppeae is a widespread species. Although it is declining due to ongoing habitat loss and degradation over parts of its range, it is not yet in danger of extinction.

This species is widespread across North West Province and southern Gauteng, extending southwards to the central Free State and western Mpumalanga, South Africa.

Description
It occurs in sandy soils in short, open grassland.
Threats
Aloe jeppeae has lost about 40% of its habitat, predominantly to urban expansion in Gauteng, and agriculture in the Free State, North West Province and western Mpumalanga. It is also threatened by habitat loss to coal mining in south-eastern Gauteng and western Mpumalanga.

A continuing population decline is inferred from ongoing habitat loss and degradation.
