Justification
Bulbine succulenta is a widespread species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 18 544 km² that is not in danger of extinction and is therefore listed as Least Concern.

Range
This species is endemic to South Africa, and is widespread along the transition between fynbos and succulent karoo in the Western and Northern Cape, where it occurs from Hantamsberg and Bokkeveld Escarpment south of Calvinia to the Roggeveld Escarpment, Tanqua Karoo and Witteberg near Matjiesfontein.

Description
It occurs in rocky, well-drained slopes in succulent karoo and renosterveld.
Threats
This species' habitat is still mostly intact, with less than 10% irreversibly modified. It is however impacted by overgrazing across most of its range. The impact of grazing on the population is not known.
