Justification
Xylia torreana is rare and localized within South Africa, but very widespread outside South Africa. The South African population is not threatened.

In South Africa, this species is localized to the north-eastern border of the Limpopo province in the Kruger National Park. It also occurs in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Description
It occurs in deciduous woodland and sandy areas.
Threats
This species' habitat is well-protected in South Africa and it has no threats.
Population

This species is restricted to a very small area in northern Kruger National Park, but it is widespread outside South Africa. The local population has no threats and is not suspected to be declining.
