Description
Rocky middle to upper mountain slopes.
Threats
This species occurs mostly in remote, montane areas where grazing pressure is not severe. However, as rangelands on the coastal plain and closer to settlements become increasingly degraded, herders may increasingly move into these areas in search of grazing.
Population

This species is common across the mountains of the Richtersveld, and the population is stable.
