Range
This species occurs from the Richtersveld, Namaqualand and Bushmanland southwards to the southern Tanqua Karoo. It also occurs in Namibia.

Description
It occurs in seasonally wet sandy depressions and stream beds below 1 000 m.
Population

A widespread, but rarely recorded habitat specialist. Plants are small and easily overlooked, and this species is likely to be more common than records suggest.
