EOO 580 km², three known locations continue to decline due to ongoing habitat loss to urban expansion, agriculture (wheat and pasture cultivation) and alien plant invasion.

Description
Seasonally flooded areas on shallow soils.
Threats
Most of this species' lowland habitat has been lost to urban and agricultural expansion, and only small fragments remain. The majority of these fragments are severely infested by alien invasive plants, which is causing continuing habitat degradation.
