Description
Seasonally wet seeps in sandy soils.
Threats
One location at the base of the Matsikamma Mountain near Vanrhynsdorp is potentially threatened by habitat loss to crop cultivation and mining, while the other two are within formally protected areas.
Population

A recently discovered species, known from three widely scattered subpopulations. It is likely to be overlooked and more common than records indicate, and not suspected to be declining.
