Justification
Restricted to high altitude marshes in the Drakensberg, a scarce habitat (AOO<2000 km²). Recorded from fewer than 10 locations. Subpopulations in Lesotho and Maclear are declining as a result of overgrazing. Subpopulations near Naude's Nek and Ongeluksnek are secure.
