A range-restricted (EOO 188 km²), but fairly common Cape Peninsula endemic, and not threatened.

Description
Steep, rocky slopes or on ledges, restricted to moist, south-facing slopes, 450-900 m.
Threats
Most subpopulations are not threatened, however alien invasive pines are present within this species' habitat on Constantiaberg and Noordhoek Peaks, and if left unmanaged, could become a threat in these areas (N.A. Helme pers. obs. 2012).
