Description | Stony slopes in marshy as well as rocky areas. |
Threats |
Invasive alien plants particularly Acacia mearnsii and Acacia saligna in the Arieskraal / Somersfontein area. There has also been past loss of habitat to pine plantations and to crop cultivation (orcahrds and vineyards) in this same area.
Frequent fire is a potential threat as this species is killed by fire only regenerating from seed. |
