EOO 150 km², a Kogelberg endemic known from less than five locations and potentially threatened by too frequent fire.

Description
Stony slopes in marshy as well as rocky areas.
Threats
Invasive alien plants particularly Acacia mearnsii and Acacia saligna in the Arieskraal / Somersfontein area. There has also been past loss of habitat to pine plantations and to crop cultivation (orcahrds and vineyards) in this same area. Frequent fire is a potential threat as this species is killed by fire only regenerating from seed.
