Justification | An Agulhas Plain species, EOO 257 km², occurring at between five and 10 locations. Habitat loss due to agriculture and wildflower cultivation is causing ongoing decline of this species. Invasive alien plants are also resulting in degradation of its habitat. |

Cultivation of wheat and vineyards as well as cultivation of fynbos for the cut flower industry are a past and ongoing threats throughout this species' range. Invasive alien plants are a severe cause of ongoing habitat degradation. |
