Description
Scarp forest.
Threats
Three of the four known subpopulations occur in protected forests, but only one subpopulation occurs within an extensive protected area (Umfolozi Game Reserve). The other three are susceptible to edge effects, particularly degradation due to alien invasive plants.
Population

This species is known from four isolated patches of scarp forest. Field observations report this species as occurring in very low densities, often only one or two plants are seen. It is a cryptic climber, and very easily overlooked. It has not yet been recorded at Ngoye Forest, but is likely to occur there.
