Justification | Quaqua arenicola subsp. pilifera is an endemic to the Roggeveld Escarpment and Nuweveld Mountains with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 2468 km². This species is known from seven subpopulations but it is likely that more subpopulations occur in the remote and poorly explored mountains between Sutherland and Fraserburg. There are no recorded threats to this species, it therefore qualifies as Least Concern. |
